Rolling out a new app to your team is easy with these tips
Where to add Celebrations: We recommend adding Celebrations to a team or Birthdays channel to include the whole team. *Note: Celebrations cards will not be delivered if the recipient of the card is not in the channel in which Celebrations is installed.
Here is an example of how you might introduce Celebrations to your team. You can pin the message to the top of the channel for your team’s later reference.
Welcome to the Celebrations Channel! We have installed Celebrations by Airspeed here to automate our Birthday and Work Anniversary card delivery. Go to the app home page in your Slack apps to see upcoming celebrations and create custom cards for your teammates.
Participation is voluntary and you can opt-out easily by going to "Edit my Birthday" and checking the Opt-Out box. Click here for additional FAQs and information.
*Note for Admins: You can import all employee's Celebration Dates by batch uploading a CSV. The process is simple and can be done by clicking on "Import Employee Dates" in the app Home tab.
